Before Bill became a sculptor, he was going to be a saddle maker. He loved working on the leather, cutting out the pattern, carving the designs of flowers or a basket weave on the seat or skirts. The little saddle here is what a cowboy would use every day on a ranch. It is perfect as a gift for a boss, an employee or coworker to use on their desk as a paper weight.
