Horses and cowboys work from dawn till dark getting the job done, no matter who hard it is.  Though the cowboy would not say they were friends, his horse is his partner, and work goes easier if they get along.  Bill has owned horses all his life, and rides, ropes cattle and works roundup on his friends' ranches.  He has had several horses, "play tricks" on him through the years and enjoys portraying these humorous moments when he creates his sculptures.  While this cowboy is in the process of getting a rock out of his horse's hoof, it sees an opportunity to become a Horse Thief!
