HEADING FOR THE BRUSH In
Arizona and other places in the Southwestern desert, rounding up cattle
is not an easy job to accomplish. The cactus, rocky ground and thick
thorny brush can create some real obstacles for the cowboys. An experienced
hand is aware that the cattle know if they get into the brush it is
almost impossible to get them out. The cowboy is after a steer to
rope him before there is a chance to get away. Bill has personal experience
with this on local desert ranches he has visited. |
