THE GREAT ESCAPE Bill
sometimes watches horses when they don't know he is around. They all
have different personalities and moods that can easily be seen. You
can tell a lot about the mood of a horse by watching the ears. If
they are laid back, he's mad or mischievous; if they are pointed ahead,
he is curious or alert, and if they are droopy, he is tired or relaxed.
Some horses are always trying to dominate others in the corral, while
other "buddy up" with another horse. There are those times
that the "buddies" will work together to figure a way to
get out of the corral! Here we see one horse being the lookout, while
the other one is untying the gate so they can escape. |
