The ranching, cowboy way of life is usually a family tradition. If the dad is a cowboy, then usually th kids are, too. It's not just the horses or cows or the land or the open spaces. There is an entire cultural belief, attitude and language which is passed down from generation to generation. The kids do 4H, Junior Rodeos, and horse shows. Mom, dad and the grandparents did the same activities years ago and now they judge, time, and haul stock everywhere. These boots are Bill's way of telling that story of cowboy families.
